A STYLING SESSION WITH GEORGE

What can I say? This little guy is a heartbreaker and a half and I just adore him.  He's a close friend's son and she was kind enough to let me steal him for the afternoon for some photo shoot fun.  Kiwi Street Studios and I teamed up yet again for a little shoot and as always the results are pretty dang cute. TWO THINGS {HIS & HERS MORNINGS}

The morning after christmas was all we could have asked for- a quiet, lazy morning at home sipping coffee, relaxing and just being together.  I love how perfectly these photo's capture the essence of yesterday morning.  Nick's back to work today and i'm already missing him.

OUR CHRISTMAS

Hope every had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was just lovely. LOTS AND LOTS of running around but it's nice to be able to see both our families.  My brother, who lives in DC came in and i'm so happy we were able to spend a good amount of time with both my mom and dad, and nicks parents. It gets pretty hard with divorced parents (me) and huge families for both of us but we make it work.  Nick was good to me this year too :) so much goodness from the gift exchange just the two of us do. Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things in the coming weeks. Happy Tuesday, friends!

OFF DAYS

Oh off days, how I cherish you- endless pots of coffee, a few errands and puppy snuggles.  Today I spent the morning with some of my most favorite little people, met my mom and brother for lunch, picked up some last minute holiday gifts and am now popping in for a quick hello before I head downstairs for some good old fashioned movie watching.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and holiday weekend!

WINTER

There's something about winter photography that is just so beautiful to me.  I usually don't consider winter my favorite season, but this year it seems that it is.  The white, the coziness- i'm totally in love with it all.  I could spend hours browsing pinterest for winter images.....

TODAY IS GOOD {TWO BOYS}

While i'm in and out of the shop this week, I have some time off from my little preschool class and am enjoying every second of lazy days spent at home and with friends.  I started my day with a coffee date with a friend, then headed over to Christy's house to hang with her two beautiful baby boys. And the above photo is literally what I did the entire time. Holding a new, cuddly, precious little person does something amazing for your soul.  Hope everyone else is having a great day!

TWO NEW THINGS

Last night was our first official christmas gift exchange with Nick's family and this girl couldn't be happier! Don't get me wrong, I truly do enjoy GIVING a gift more than receiving but when gifted with two beautiful things {one from my sister-in law and the other from my mother-in law} i've literally been lusting for, for several weeks, I can't help but smile.  My eames rocker pillow from inhabitat and my iphone case from society 6- Lots of fun stuff happening these next couple weeks too! Happy Holidays!

HAPPY WEEKEND

This weekend has been filled with holiday cheer and parties! Friday night we headed to a neighborhood luminary event followed by a night home making forts and a bed of blankets in our living room. It was just perfect. Saturday we had an 'ugly' sweater party (although, we actually sort of love our sweaters) at a friends house, which judging by my headache and pajama's (still on at 1pm) it was a super fun time :)  Tonight we're headed to Nick's parents for a little family gift exchange- yay! enjoy the rest of your weekends!

IT'S ALL I THINK ABOUT

constantly on my mind this holiday season- cups of coffee, holiday music, chunky knit socks, our christmas tree and our cozy house.  There's just something about being in our first home that is making this holiday season extra special.  I'm so in love with everything right now! Happy Wednesday!
