I love this guy.

if you have a furry kid, you can relate. If you have a furry kid and no human kids (yet) you can REALLY relate.  I just love this guy. He's such a gentle giant with a super goofy personality.  That's all. I love my pup. Enjoy your day!

Awesomeness

"An Awesome Book of Thanks" by Dallas Clayton has quickly turned into one of my most favorite children's books.  I read this super adorable, meaningful book to my nieces preschool class a few weeks ago and could not get over both the meaning and imagery. How AWESOME is the title of the book!?  Clayton has also put together the most fabulous website full of inspiration, creativity and fun, very awesome world (you got that right, Dallas!) Thanks for shining your light Mr. Clayton! 

(ps. this book is perfect for those who support montessori education. the message is simple and beautiful. nothing hokey :)

Gifted. My holiday goodness...

This year's christmas was nothing short of wonderful.  Spending time with family, sippin' coffee, drinkin' mimosa's, eating incredible dishes and laughing an ungodly amount hits this past weekends events on the head perfectly.  It was just awesome.  I was overwhelmed with the amount of goodies i received from my husband, brothers, parents, and friends.  It was all just too much and I couldn't have been happier :) Thank you for a very merry weekend.  Hope you all were as blessed as I was. xo

wintery wonderland.

My street this morning-  Just purrty. I'm stuck inside sippin' coffee and snugglin' a pup. Hope everyone in snowy cities have been enjoying it so far!  It really does put me in the holiday spirit! 

the golden rule.

from studio on fire comes this beautiful golden rule poster drawn by 6 yr. old Koen (while sitting at the dining room table!) then digitized in the studio.   I just adore everything about it. the message, the colors, the overall style- just perfect.  

DIY cardboard chair!

From Muji (one of my favorite NYC shops) comes this super cool, DIY cardboard kids chair.  Put it together, paint it, use it. Made completely from recycled paper- score!
